Features & Specs
The 60200PC-WHD has 2 feed speeds, 26 fpm for regular every day production type planing, or 18 fpm, which will provide a finer finish on figured stock. As with our Wahuda spiral style cutterhead machines, our planer comes with 4-sided carbide inserts already installed. And we’ve have made it quick and easy to access the cutterhead, for insert rotation or replacement, by adding star knobs to the 4 inch dust port and dust chute screws that can be quickly removed by hand without a tool. Also included is a 4 inch to 2 ½ inch dust port adapter. We’ve also added pullout extensions on the heavy gauge infeed and outfeed tables to give you 45” of total table length if needed, for those longer pieces of stock. If even longer pieces of lumber need machining, you can always add additional supports…such as roller stands. And the tables and pullout extensions are easily adjusted to get them coplanar to the center wear plate.Weighing in at about 77 lbs, it can be moved around your shop for easy access. This planer has a turret style 8 position preset depth stop ranging from 1/8” to 1 ¾” which allows for consistent thickness when planing large quantities of stock. It has a standard stock capacity of 13” W X 6” H with a 1/8” maximum depth of cut. (1/32” max depth of cut at 10” wide and above). The powerful 120 V 15 amp motor, which equates to about 2.2 HP, will keep up with any stock you throw at it. CAUTION: The speed selector switch should only be changed while the machine is running and not under load. Otherwise, damage will occur to the speed selector mechanism.

Edit: Like my 10″ Wahuda jointer, this is an excellent machine. I purchased it at a discount, as a refurbished used return (Wahuda replaced the tables, motor & top). Robust, all metal construction, accurate, beautiful smooth cuts at both speeds, barely any snipe on the outfeed end, full suite of measurement options. I slightly adjusted the tables, though both were already well aligned.
But the cutting height was different on each side. With their advice, I discovered the underside of the cast steel base had broken where one elevation screw was mounted, with a tiny Allen screw wedged in by someone attempting unsuccessfully to stabilize it (presumably the first owner). Wahuda advised me to dispose of it and they’d refund my payment. Then I stopped hearing from them since, nor saw any credit. However, I was able to repair the base very solidly and now the height is even & stable. Everything else is perfect. So I told them I would keep it.
I had originally deducted one star due to that strange lack of follow up by Wahuda after first being very responsive. This is not typical of them, and their quality control before was great. (The 10″ jointer arrived perfectly adjusted.) However, several weeks later I received notice that they were refunding my entire purchase price! A discount would have been nice, but wow! It was applied a week later.
That is so outstanding, and now I appreciate Wahuda more than ever. I don’t think any other company would have fully refunded a repairable unit without a return, knowing I was willing to keep the machine as received. A sterling 5 stars for Wahuda, for the great machine (as designed) and this amazing decision, albeit after some delay.

Machine is 5 star, unfortunately it arrived damaged. But read on. . .

Deducting one star is due to the strange lack of follow up (or credit) by Wahuda after first being very involved. This is not typical of them. Their tech support & quality control is normally great. But the machine is outstanding, and I highly recommend it. I’ll keep it.

The 2-speed refurbished planer is terrific. I’d like to be able to give 5 stars, but there were other problems with the order.
The receipt said that the motor, beds and top had been replaced. It was very clean, with some wear on the speed switch evident. Set up was easy, with some fiddling with the infeed/outfeed tables to make them coplanar with the fixed bed & each other. The head stripped on one of the Allen screws on the side of the bed, and a replacement was mailed immediately. This is Wahuda’s typical customer service, quick & helpful. Then I found that the cutters were higher on one side than the other. Staff told me how to adjust that underneath. There I found that the base was broken right where one elevation screw was mounted, causing the problem. Since the base is cast in one piece staff said for me to dispose of it and I would be credited the purchase price. Then I was asked to keep it for a couple of weeks so they could request indemnification from UPS. On further examining it, I found a tiny Allen wrench wedged between one of the breaks, an apparent (& failed) attempt by someone (not Wahuda, evidently the first owner) to stabilize it. I reported this for advice & seeking coverage for shipping damage wouldn’t be justified. After about 10 days, I contacted Wahuda again (all this via email) to tell them I had been able to repair the base and I would keep the machine, so they needn’t credit me. But I had had no responses from them since they advised they’d seek UPS coverage, and no credit ever showed up.
Still, the planer is everything people say. Beautiful smooth cuts at both speeds, very slight snipe, only on the trailing edge. Construction is very robust, all metal. I have had the 10″ jointer since it was introduced, purchased new, which was perfectly set up on arrival and continues to perform beautifully.
So I highly recommend the planer–it is a 5 star machine. I am confident that Wahuda stands behind its products from past experience and their readily offering to credit my purchase price. It is very atypical that since then they stopped corresponding with me despite my findings. But no matter, since I was able to complete the repair of the planer. It is refurbished at an excellent price, and I know it inside & out now since I finished refurbishing it. If they ever get back in touch with me, some credit for my keeping & repairing a damaged machine they were going to completely write off would be appropriate & appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic machine. Best value on the market for the price. Their customer service is also second to none if you run into any issues or questions. I would highly recommend!

I have used this planer for over a year now on a fairly regular basis with both hard woods and soft woods. Here are a few comments based on my experience with both the tool and Wahuda. Wahuda support is superb. My unit arrived with a crushed in feed table. After submitting a service request, I received an entire replacement table assembly in a matter of a few days. Nice. The machine is sturdy, cuts very smoothly and has continued to churn through lumber much as it did from day one. However, there are a couple of suggestions to make. First, the in and out feed tables are to lightweight and subject to twist. The extending rollers are not as useful as they sound since keeping them aligned has been difficult. Instead, I would suggest extending the table by an inch and half while providing small foldout legs (adjustable) to support the table ends. The current support bolt near the pivot of the tray is simply not enough for reliably support or squaring of the bale. Second, move the power switch so it does not interfere when closing the in feed table. The current design juts out enough to damage the table when pressed to firmly. It’s simply awkward if you move the unit around much. This planer is well worth the purchase and hopefully continues to churn through lumber for years to come.

Awesome. I cannot say enough great things about the 13” 2 speed planer 60200PC-WHD. With the carbide inserts the cutter produces a super smooth finish on my project wood. No more clatter or loud noise I got from my 2 blade planer. This machine has plenty of power and the Engineering and precision build is evident when you operate it. I purchased the Universal Stand 80300US-WHD and it’s an outstanding build that fits the planer perfectly. Thanks Wahuda Tools for the excellent products.

I’ve had this planer for about a month and love it so far. It leaves smooth boards requiring minimal sanding. Snipe is minimal. The fine chips it produces don’t clog my dust collection system as did my last planer, and my wife no longer complains about the noise!

This is a great machine backed by wonderful tech support. This company backs its products and I would not hesitate to deal with Wahuda Tools again.
