After taking in customers' suggestions over the years, ideas and concerns, from our valued customers, we listened and upped our game!
Following on the success of our previous 6 inch jointer models, we'd like to introduce our newly upgraded 6 " WAHUDA spiral style bench top jointer model 50160CC-WHD.
Still geared towards the budget-minded novice, but very capable of milling stock in a small pro shop, it's manufactured to tight tolerances in a certified ISO 9001 factory and is CSA approved for performance and your safety.
Sporting new cast iron tables, our new 6" jointer only weighs about 48 lbs making it still easily maneuvered around your shop or jobsite. The cast iron tables also provide better stability during operation and are less prone to scratching. Table leveling for coplanar, if ever needed, is still easily achieved via set screws installed in each table. With the 30 inch total table length end to end, and a total depth of just over 17 inches and total height of just over 13 inches, it fits in the smallest of available shop area space.
With the included new spiral style cutterhead, manufactured with the same heavy duty aluminum extrusion over steel inner shaft, you now get the cutting edge sharpness retention from having 12 carbide 4-sided insert tips installed. While being quieter than the straight knife cutterhead noise you have had to endure, you also get the smooth finish on your stock you've been looking for from the spiral design ... even on figured woods. Only having to loosen or remove one mounting screw on each insert, provides extremely quick tip rotation or replacement if the insert becomes nicked, keeping your downtime to a minimum and your project on time.
Our new 6 " jointer has some of the same features as our previous highly touted models. It still has the maximum capacity of 6" width and 1/8" maximum depth of cut, a 2½" included dust port for better chip evacuation, and 4 3/8" high by 19 5/8" long extruded aluminum fence which can be easily tilted from 90 to 135 degrees with ease. It has the same 120V 10 amp AC motor which provides ample power requirements. Included are the push blocks, the tools you need to properly set up and adjust the machine, and a T-Torx wrench to rotate or replace the insert tips.

Good packaging. Arrived with no damage. Easy assembly/ Tables needed adjustment to make them parallel. Easy instructions to complete that task. I have a maple burl I am machining into lumber for furniture. Pieces I tried out turned out excellent. Highly recommend this jointer.

I’ve had this jointer for a couple of months now and have used more often than I thought I would. It did take me a while to get it set up. If it’s not set up properly you’re going to be disappointed. This is my first jointer so that’s mostly on me. Great finish and being able to flatten warped and twisted wood is so satisfying. It’s much quieter than my 2 bladed planer. I wanted a cast iron base and this fits the bill nicely. Just make sure you keep it clean and protected or it will rust rather quickly. I was able to polish out any rust rather easily. Overall I’m happy I went with this jointer. It came well packaged with no damage. I would purchase again.

I received a 6″ jointer for Christmas from my children. I was finally able to get it into my workshop today and get it set up. I was concerned that the fence would not be very substantial but that is not the case. I was however disappointed that the 6″ model does not have the extension arms. I asked my kids to get me the 6″ model to try to save them some money. If I had realized the extension arms were not included on the 6 inch model I would have added some cash to their purchase and got the 8″ model. Yep, my error, but after watching so many reviews on line and having most reviewers state that the extension arms was one of their favorite features I assumed it was a feature on all models

Wow this is amazing
I purchased this jointer because I have a lot of boards to join for a tabletop and while I have a table saw jig it wasn’t as accurate as I needed. Shipping was fast and when I spent the hour or so putting things together and checking adjustments I ran one board through. This was the moment of truth did I was $400 or was this going to be a game-changer? By the title of the review, I think you can guess it’s a total game changer! The pieces all came out super flat and ready to be squared up on the table saw! Bonus the shavings are nice curly shavings that can be used for packing or for other craft projects! I’m so glad I bought this!

I consider myself to be a Benchtop Jointer pro. I have owned a Delta 6″ for 15 years and have run tons of material through it. I was thinking of full sized jointer with a helical head and decided that the things I do, Grampa things the old delta did just fine, However this new unit exceeds my expectations I had one worry from watching some videos about outfeed and infeed table not being coplaner , I quizzed the tech support people and they assured me that i would be happy with my purchase. Let me tell you, the jointer could not be better setup. If i have a complaint, it would be the poor quality allen wrench included , but i had a good quality tool and all went well. Easy assembly and top quality output. could not be happier. I did notice that on my 24″ level the coplaner seemed out of adjustment, so I switched to my longer ,hardly used level and was able to see the coplaner was good. use a good quality straight edge, I almost started making unnecessary adjustments.

Awesome Jointer!
To me, this is the best bench top jointer in this price range; Especially considering that you don’t have to pay another $400 or more for such a cutter head that already has installed! Even more, in this new Virus era, they still got it shipped to me in only 3 days, where others’ would take months!All surfaces are nice, and flat, leaving the most perfect surface on wood than I could ever hope for. No regrets on choosing this machine!

The pro’s and consProValue for your buckSpiral carbide cutterReplaceable carbide cutters and reasonably priced.6″ of cutLarge out and infeed tables for a bench jointerCon4 table leveling set screws per table, 2 close to cutter and twe about 6″ away from cutter. Mine did not come with the out and infeed tables parallel with each other. It is a real pain with the set screw setup to level both tables. Since you have to set up and down and side to side to bring the tables in alignment. You have a large set screw with 2 smaller allen head screws to raise and lower,front to back and side to side. While testing the smaller allen head fill up with dust and might have to be picked out with a sharp object to get the wrench to seat firmly. I’ve spent over 2 hrs if not more with these table adjusters. They are very frustrating especially for a old guy !

Best bang for the buck in the market today
No question this is the best bang for your buck in a 6 inch tabletop. Precision cast iron table, large extruded fence that holds position and the 4 sided cutters. None of the competitors offer all those features at this price point. Excellent heavy packaging, thorough setup instructions (although literally everything is self explanatory) and extra 4 sided cutters make this a bargain. Looks like it should hold up well. Highly recommend this jointer.
